    When I enable the plugin on my site I go in and I put in my zip code as the origin, but when I checkout I am getting the wrong price displayed. It should be $10+ but I am getting $22+.
    1 pound 8 ounces from zip code 56377 to 05038 was my test.

    Hi @baldemotions, thanks for writing in!

    We might need more information to reproduce and fix this problem. Could you provide the number of items you are trying to ship, their dimensions, services you enabled (Priority Mail, First Class Mail etc.) and packages you have configured (if any)?

    3 products with dimensions of 5x2x5 and a decimal weight of .625 or 10oz.

    Services

    First class package
    USPS retail ground
    Priority mail
    Flat rate box large and medium.

    Hello @baldemotions!

    Unfortunately, I was unable to reproduce your issue. While I do see a $22.50 Priority Mail option, I also see First Class for $11.25 and Flat Rate for $13.60.

    Here are some screenshots of my test:
    * USPS settings: https://cldup.com/RkihTjFIxQ.png
    * Product

    * Rates

    Can you take a few screenshots of what you’re experiencing? Thanks!

    But you did reproduce the issue. Those three products fit in to a 6x6x6 box. It weighs 1 pound 14oz. From zip code 56377 to 05038 on costs $10.55 priority mail. Check it out on usps.com
    First class should not be an option as the weight is over a pound.
    I am experiencing exactly what you are showing.

    Hello @baldemotions!

    Sorry for the delay in my response.

    If you wish to ship in a 6 x 6 x 6 box, you’ll need to define that as a custom box on your WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Packages screen. (See below)

    Once I defined the custom box, I got the $10.55 rate:

    I hope this helps!

    It helps, but I am shipping by weight not box. I shouldn’t have to add boxes for a weight based shipping. WooCommerce USPS Shipping plugin does not require a custom box to be entered in order to use weight based. If I wanted to pack by box then I would have to enter a custom box.

    Hi @baldemotions,

    We didn’t add the “Weight based” option to WooCommerce Services because we didn’t consider it useful. Even if you could get weight-based rates, you would still need to physically put all the items inside a box to ship them. That’s why we recommend the “Pack multiple items in a single package” option.

    You can add to the “Packages” screen the boxes you have at hand (for example, the 6x6x6in box), that would give you the same result as the “Weight based” rates. This way, even if all the items don’t fit in a single box, the rates will be calculated correctly (which wouldn’t happen with the USPS Shipping plugin).

    Did we miss anything? Is there any situation where weight-based rates are better or more convenient than packing by boxes?
