    I need support ASAP. Customer order for $X but Stripe processed $Y. When I contacted Stripe they said that the API recorded a call for $Y. I need to trace the error!

    The only “trace” that would exist would be if you have debug logging enabled for Stripe and I imagine that if you do, you will find in the logs that what Stripe is telling you is accurate and this is the amount that was sent to Stripe.

    Are you able to reproduce this on a testing/staging site with Stripe in test mode?

    Sadly not. I am confused as to what happened and not sure what to do here.

    Hi @februaryfour,

    We recommend you enable logging for stripe orders (point 15 in the doc linked) and review other orders to see if there is a pattern. It’s possible that some orders are getting a different charge because you have additional fees for some customers (Can be possible if you have set up different taxes/fees based on location).

    You could also try to replicate this order with the same products/address details once logging is enabled to see if the charges are different and then review the logs and troubleshoot from there.
