It does not change the format of my images. My PHP log says things like:

PHP Warning: file_get_contents(/Sites/wp-playground.dev/wp/wp/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/image-png.png): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /Users/bonny/Sites/wp-playground.dev/wp/wp-content/plugins/png-to-jpg/png-to-jpg.php on line 374

There is one to many “wp” in that url, it should be /Sites/wp-playground.dev/wp/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/image-png.png

    Hello,

plugin is tested in 3 “environments”:
    main domain like: website.com
    subdomain like: sub.website.com
    subdirectory like: website.com/sub

if one of them is also your case, then it should work, but if not, then maybe there is some strange configuration of your server

is one of above one of your case?
    who is you hosting provider?
do you have any plugins that change default wordpress directory structure?

    Hi! Thanks for your reply!

I finally got some time to sit down and debug this now and.. ofcourse it works fine now 🙂 It must have been some misconfiguration from my side or another plugin that was causing this.

Sorry about the fuss. Thanks for nice plugin!

I guess I also encountered an issue with the paths (https://wordpress.org/support/topic/not-converting-error/).
It is a roots.io Bedrock setup where some paths have been modified, this shouldn’t be an issue though when the WordPress functions for retrieving the proper paths are used.
