# Wrong password when change settings

 * I’m contacting you because i’ve a strange issue in my Matomo installation in 
   setting pages : [https://www.mydomain/wp-content/plugins/matomo/app/index.php?module=PrivacyManager&action=privacySettings&idSite=1&period=day&date=yesterday](https://www.mydomain/wp-content/plugins/matomo/app/index.php?module=PrivacyManager&action=privacySettings&idSite=1&period=day&date=yesterday)
 * When i change a setting that’s asking my password. I’m entering my admin password(
   the one to log in my WordPress on the admin account) and everytime that says 
   it’s a wrong password. I don’t understand why that’s doing that. I’ve verified,
   my password is good and i don’t remember when i’ve installed Matomo i needed 
   another one.

 * Sorry to hear that you encounter some issues with our plugin.
 * You should definitively not have to enter your password in the WordPress plugin
   when asking this URL.
    Would you mind sharing with me your system report, available
   from the “Matomo Analytics > Diagnostics” menu? Could you also share with us 
   a screencast of this operation which request your password? (You can email it
