Wrong Name displayed

Hi there,

When the plugin is activated, the displayed names are the usernames instead of the public name (first and last name in our case). When I deaactivate the Plugin the names are displayed correctly again. The User settings are correct and it does work without the plugin.

I just noticed, that all the information is in the users meta, but when I go to the authors list of your plugin, the information is lacking.

We indeed have different setting on our plugin. We dont rely the information from WP-admin > users.

We pulling the information from the setting of our plugin (1st screenshot). In order to show it, you need to fill in on that setting. Please see this as reference: https://publishpress.com/knowledge-base/allow-authors-update-profiles/

Thanks for the answer. Is there a way to import the user fields to your author fields? We have over 100 authors on the page and it would be a pain to do that manually.
