 * hi my stats tell me i´m from germany, however i live in Austria, do i have to
   upload something? or are it settings…

   more reports that the current geolocation detection might not be as accurate 
   as we hoped. We used to use a database called MaxMind for geolocation which worked
   great but because of GDPR we can’t automatically configure it anymore sadly. 
   I have created [https://github.com/matomo-org/wp-matomo/issues/230](https://github.com/matomo-org/wp-matomo/issues/230)
   where we will add support to configure this database manually which then will
   more accurately detect the location. I’m planning to work on this soon. Thanks
   for your feedback and stay tuned.
