wrong home url being set in google search

    Hi,
    in google search the default home url has been set with the /en/ slug for some reason (although I have not added this translation yet and the default language should be german) – i do not want any slug extension (no /de/ or /en/) currently.

    I have the site indexed without the /en/ slug so I do not understand why this happened.

    If I remove the english translation and a user clicks the home url in google search it goes to a 404. Anyone have this problem before?

    Hello there,

    Thank you for reaching us!

    Unfortunately, this process cant be done because at the moment you cant remove the language slug from the URL for the secondary languages.

    If the language slug appears on the default language, please disable the “Use subdirectory for the default language” and everything should be ok.
