This website displays a wrong Gravatar image in the comment section. It displays the image of the admin (a man), while it should be showing the image of a user (a woman).

I’ve checked if this is a plugin or theme issue: it is not. After disabling all plugins and after switching to WP default theme, the issue remains.

I’ve had some assistance from Elegant Themes support and now new comments do display the right image. But how to get the older comments to show the right image?
(the admin even deleted the Gravatar account that was attached to it!)

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • It’s interesting that you say the Gravatar account was deleted, because I could not find a way to delete a Gravatar account.

The avatar lookup uses the email address stored in the comment data. So if the wrong avatar is found, it could be because of the email address is wrong. Also, is your site using a caching plugin?
