Wrong file encoding error

    I am trying to move a multisite development site from my desktop computer to a laptop and am using Migrate DB to move the database as the path to the source files is different on my laptop. The resultant sql export fails when I try to run it on my laptop with the error:

    “Wrong file encoding at file offer range (61414, 155647), execution is stopped (23 queries has been run so far)”

    The file won’t open in my text editor as it says the same thing, “Unknown Encoding”.

    Any suggestions?
