    Hi,
    Need to fix this somehow as it is legally a huge problem …
    For now, the shop only has “bank transfer” as payment method, so obviously when the customer orders, the order was not yet paid. It will be paid later by bank transfer.
    Problem is, the customer is receiving as first email the email “Order confirmation” where it says the order was already paid. This might be OK if they’ve paid with ppal or CC, but definitely not when bank transfer was they payment method.

    How can this be fixed ?! It should receive the other email, “We have received your order and are waiting for payment”

    I am testing this on the latest WooCommerce 3.5 and the email that is sent to a customer who chose to pay with a bank transfer is http://cld.wthms.co/NWYOSS

    As you can see it does not say that the order has been paid, rather it says Thanks for your order. It’s on-hold until we confirm that payment has been received. In the meantime, here’s a reminder of what you ordered.

    Can you please check again?

    if it persists then it may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins [except WooCommerce], and switch to the default Twenty Seventeen theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.
     
    If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site
