I use Quiz And Survey Master 8.0.3 with WordPress 6.0.1 on a new web site (not published yet).

If not all questions are answered an error message is shown „Please answer all questions“. It works well, e.g. using Firefox but in Safari there is an error:

For some answered questions in the list the 2nd choice is shown two times. The duplicated entry is somehow shifted upside and therefore just the lower part of the text is visible.
Is there any chance for a fix so that it works in Safari, too?
I can give more informations, e.g. a screen show and server access vis PM.

Thank you for your quick reply.

AFAIK there is no way to add an attachment in the forum. Therefore I cannot add a screen shot, etc.. Is it possible to send you a private mail with more information?

    • 3. PHP version which you are using right now.
    PHP-Version 7.3.31-1~deb10u1
I cannot use another version right now because the server runs in a hosted environment.

    • 4. Database version which you are using right now.
    10.3.23-MariaDB-0+deb10u1

I made a screencast where I left out the answer of question 4 (12 questions are available). I click at “Auswerten” to see the results and you see the duplicate lines.
Does it help to get a clue what’s wrong?

    Hi @greatom

It is a bit hard to answer why you are experiencing this issue
The best advice I can give is the standard fault finding and fixes.
I first advise you to clear the cache and cookies. You can also try to reset your permalinks and try again.
The issue could also be due to a theme or plugin conflict

    Themes:

As a test, switch to a default theme such as twenty-twenty and see if this fixes it.

    Plugins:

If that doesn’t work, also deactivate all plugins apart from QSM and see if this fixes. if it does, re-enable one at a time to see which is causing the error.
If you cannot do this to your site (say because it is live) then use the ‘troubleshooting’ features of this plugin to let you test without affecting other users

    https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/

You can also follow the below-given link for more instructions and follow them.

Let me know if you still face the same issue.

    Thanks for your help.
I did already some troubleshooting but I have no success, yet.
I wonder if it is perhaps a Safari issue because the duplicate lines are not in the HTML code when I check the page data in developer mode.
I will perform some further testing.

    Hi @greatom

Is your issue resolved or still facing the same issue please confirm.

    I still see the issue.
There is no issue in other browsers. Only Safari.
The page source does no show the duplicate lines. In Web-Debugger in Safari the duplicate line is gone after a click which does force a page refresh.
Therefore I don’t think there is a problem with your plugin.

    Many thanks for your help.
