# wrong date on posts

 * my date on all posts is wrong, and my friend is telling me he has to reset the
   whole blog and what not, is there a way to fix this?

 * go to “Options” in the admin, and scroll down to the bottom… you can change the
   date and time there. and no, you don’t have to reset the whole blog… yeesh.

 * this just changes the format of the date, but not the date itself. right now 
   its saying its the 21st of april, when its actaully the 6th

 * You should contact your host and let them know the date is off on your server.

 * “this just changes the format of the date, but not the date itself”
 * that’s incorrect. it doesn’t just change the format.
 * “UTC time is: 2006-04-06 7:18:47 pm
    Times in the weblog should differ by: (this
   is where you make the change for time) hours”
 * However if the date is off, then yes, you need to contact your host for that.
