Support » Fixing WordPress » Writing/Managing posts issue

  • I just upgraded from version 1.5.2 to 2.0.4 and all worked fine, EXCEPT some posts issues. I get an error when I try to create a new post and when I try to edit and old one. When I edit, it shows the preview, but not the post itself in the edit window.

    This is the error message when I try to edit:

    WordPress database error: [Unknown column ‘user_firstname’ in ‘field list’]
    SELECT ID, user_login, user_firstname, user_lastname FROM kk_users WHERE user_level <= 10 AND user_level > 0

    This is the error message when I try to create a new post:

    WordPress database error: [Unknown column ‘user_level’ in ‘where clause’]
    SELECT ID FROM kk_users WHERE user_level <= ’10’ AND ID != 1

    Everything appears as it should on my published blog, http://multifacetedmama.com/index.php

    Thank you!

  • I have also discovered that I cannot create new pages and my quicktags are no longer there. Don’t know if this is related!
