Write XML to an outer folder and append

  • Hello everyone!

I have a wordpress based blog installed in a subfolder (Perekrili.ru/blog), but my sitemap.xml file is located in a parent directory (http://perekrili.ru/sitemap.xml). The main site has it’s own pages that must be included in the sitemap.xml, but I also need all posts to be automatically appended to the XML file. How can I do that?

    Thanks in advance

I don’t think you can. Your main site does not appear to be using WordPress, so your best bet would be to use an xml sitemap plugin to create a separate sitemap.xml file for your blog.

Did it. But unfortunately it can only be done by changing the source code of a plugin
