# Write Post From Index.html (Inline): Possible?

 * I apologize if this has been addressed — I’ve just spent a few hours scouring
   the forums to see if I could find anything.
 * I am looking for a plugin, hack, secret ritual… anything at all that will allow
   me to insert a stripped down version of the “Write Post” form on the front page
   of my blog. Much like the comments form at the end of individual posts allows
   logged in users to submit comments, I’d like a form integrated into the front
   page of my blog that would allow logged in users to post new _blog entries_ without
   having to go to the admin panel.
 * Is this even possible? I’ve spent some time trying to coax my admin panel into
   telling me how it works, but no luck….

 * p.s. there is NO index.**html** in the whole WP package… only index.php!
