Wrong Calculation Cost

    I have added 3 CAD amount per km and the shipping distance is 24.4km its giving me $122.19 instead of $75

    What was the settings “calculation type” selected?

    Hi @sohaaib,

    What is the best would be the option that fit with your needs. If you want it not multiplied, try the the Per order option. Please make sure you checked the Round Distance option to get rid the decimal from the distance.

    Ok the cost is $5.00 per kilometre (customer does not need to know how calculations are made on back end) but on front end customer will receive total cost (in this example 28 km X $5.00) = $140.00 plus applicable taxes.

    And where does i add price for that because there is only additional cost fields there i have added price in it there is no calculation on the checkout page

    If you already fill the API key and enabled , then try to place order for product that has shipping class “Same Day”. If the distance is 10KM, so the total cost will be 33. Sum from ( 3 x 10 ) + additional cost (3).

    During the test, please activate the Woocommerce debug option to find out if there is something wrong.

    The distance between both addresses do not correspond as the same distance as found in google maps? I have added the same addresses on website and on google

    Hey,

    Sorry for the late of reply. I am quite busy with office things these days. Answering your question, the distance is calculated using Google Distance Matrix API services. Calculated distance result is affected by the settings of Travel Mode, Route restriction, latitude and longitude defined in the setting, also the shipping address provided characters by characters.

    I hope this the answer of your question.

    In case there was a different calculated distance result with your own application. I recommended you to turn on the WooCommerce debug option, and then copy of the API request URL that will be printed on the cart/checkout page, and then contact the creator of your app to enquire why it different by providing the API request URL.

    What I mean shipping address provided is also including city, province/state, postal code and country
