Wrappring text around pics and menu in alphabetical order

    I am new to WordPress and to 2012 so please be gentle with me.

    I have 2 issues – I can’t get the text to wrap around pictures. Adding a picture, even at its smallest size displaces the text – moves it down – so the picture is floating in white space.

    Secondly, no matter that I have re-ordered the menu items they default across the page to alphabetical order apart from Home which is always first in the menu.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    I am just beginning to deal with the matter of text-wrap in Twenty Twelve myself, so I do not have an answer there. But as to the matter of page order, take a look at “Quick Edit” for any page and I believe you should be able to number a page’s order in its “Order” box (default 0).

    Thank you for the menu item – now re-ordered – thats great.

    In terms of the images, again thank you – I have read the link but its still a bit complicated – I dont understand what I am meant to putting into my style sheet and where as the tutorial seems to be covering several things. Can anyone put this a little bit more simply for me please?

    You do not add anything to Twenty Twelve. All you need to do is select “Left”, “Right” or “Centre” for the Alignment before inserting an image.

    You mean on the dashboard? If so I do but the text doesnt wrap, it is displaced up or down by the image.

    @valleyrose17: The formatting options mentioned in the link WPyogi has provided seem to me to already be part of the latest WordPress, and I have just learned it makes a difference whether I position an image while first clicking “Add Media” or later on while clicking the “Edit Image” button after an image has been inserted. If I just “Add Media” with no positioning specified, only one line of text will be displayed between two images after one has been moved to the right. But if I click “Alignment Right” during “Add Media”, lines of text can be made to appear at the left of that image.
