• Hello…I am brand new to WordPress and I have a problem. I want to wrap text around my images. However that option doesn’t appear in my “kitchen sink.” I suspect it’s because of the theme I’ve selected (2011)…how do you go about selecting a theme that will have a text wrapping option in the “kitchen sink?”….I’m trying to avoid dealing with code. I want it as simple as possible. Please help!!

    Sincerely,
    Cathy R.

  • you need to add an aligment to the image when you insert or edit it.

Okay, I appreciate you addressing my question so quickly, but that tells me nothing. HOW do I do that? Does it involve the use of code? I’m trying to learn how to pick a theme that already has that option built into the kitchen sink.

Can you be a little more specific?? Pretend like you’re talking to a fourth grader! LOL

    Thanks,
    Cathy

    no

    does not exist.

    no

    have you inserted an image?

then have a closer look at all the options you have while inserting the image, before you click ‘save’.

there is the ‘alignment’ option to tick:

any ‘alignleft’ or ‘alignright’ should lead to wrapping of the text in the post – definitively in Twenty Eleven – if not, see http://codex.wordpress.org/Wrapping_Text_Around_Images
