• I am using a child theme of Esteem, and I want to know whether there is a way to wrap my front page content around the sidebar. I don’t want a full-width front page, as the sidebar contains important information – but the number of posts on each page exceeds the height of the sidebar, meaning that after the sidebar content ends there is a lot of wasted white space. Is it possible to make the main posts extend to full-width only after the sidebar content ends (as per the diagram here)?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @manek43509 ,

    We appreciate you writing in,

As your sidebar contains important information, it would be better to keep displaying it throughout the page instead of extending the front page’s content to its full width as it is currently not possible.

In order to make your sidebar visible at all times while scrolling, you can use this plugin called “WP Sticky Sidebar – Floating Sidebar On Scroll for Any Theme”. You may download the plugin from here. This will cover the white space that you have mentioned as well as the sidebar will be visible till the end of your content. Please do write us back if you need any further assistance.

Thank you, that’s very helpful; I’ll give that a try.

I do also have another query actually – but I shall make a new support thread for that as that is totally different from anything to do with this.

    Hi @manek43509 ,

We are glad that we could help. Yeah, sure!. We will be pleased to help you again.
