• So I’m running the latest version of wordress and also have the genesis theme installed.

I wanted to try WPTouch, but I had some technical problems with it so I decided to deactivate it. But the problem is, even after I deactivated, deleted it, emptied my caches, and even deleted my cache program, it still is showing on most of the mobile devices I tested it on.

To make matters far worse, most desktop computers and tablets I tested are showing the mobile version, even though it’s been deleted completely.

    My site is seymourfish.com

Does anyone know who to fix this?

  • Often, you’ll need to manually delete cached files from your server via FTP. Once they have been deleted and the cache purged (including the device cache), all old instances of the mobile theme will be eliminated and therefore unable to be served to desktop browsers.

To configure your caching plugin not to cache mobile pages nor to serve cached pages when mobile devices are detected, enter the user agents found under Advanced Options > Custom User-Agents to the “rejected user agents” areas in your caching plugin’s settings.
