WPTouch Stopped Showing Carousel of Latest Posts at Top of Pages

    We have been using WPTouch for many years. It has been working fine until recently.

    However, over the last several days the ‘Blog Featured Slider’ at the top of the pages has stopped showing. It was showing perfectly previously. We haven’t changed a single part of WordPress or the the WPTouch app.

    Even WPTouch’s preview function shows the slider. Please see screenshot here. Everything has been set-up correctly there, as you may see.

    However, whenever we view our WordPress blog on any mobile browser, it the slide no longer shows. All we see is a large blank space, which obviously doesn’t look very professional.

    We’ve tried to reset and republish the settings in WPTouch and many other solutions, but the carousel/slider no longer shows in all browsers we try.

    We have the latest versions of WPtouch ( 4.3.50 ) and WordPress installed.

    What can we do please?

    Can anyone help please? On the mobile view, the top-of-the-page carousel is still not working and there is just a large blank white space.

    p.s. update, we have removed the carousel completely, as it doesn’t look good have a blank space at the top of our blog. But we would like to fix this problem, so suggestions welcome please?

    The top-of-the-page menu bar also has stopped working now on mobile 🙁 Can’t access the links or use the search bar.

    It was working fine previously for years.

    We haven’t touch a single thing with the blog e.g. add or remove a plugin, or update WordPress.

    Please can you help?

    We have the latest version, WPtouch 4.3.52.

    Unfortunately, the feature still doesn’t work for us. The top preview slider is no longer functional. We just see a blank space. Please see screenshot here:

    It was working perfectly for many years before. We haven’t changed any aspect of the blog, so there is a bug with this plug-in regrettably.

    We’ve had to turn-off the top slider of the featured blog posts, so that website viewers are not seeing the blank space.

    Hi @azaminfo,

    What’s the version of PHP that you’re using? If you’re using PHP 8, you might try downgrading PHP 7.4 to see if that would work.
