  • Hi,

I do not see WPtouch active on your website. Let us know when it’s activated if you would like us to take another look.

I’ve set up a new test site that duplicates that will remain static for you while I work on other changes:

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,

You can add your pages to the menu in the Logo Icon // Menu Items & Pages Icons section of the WPtouch admin panel by selecting the pages you want to display in your menu.

    ****problem solved.

diagnosis: java conflict with other plugins, disabled unused plugins and menu now works. also check ‘enable wp restricted mode’ in wp touch settings.

do you need to have WP Touch Pro in order to have all of your pages show up as navigation menu?

for example, when i install WP Touch Free on my site and view it on my phone, I can only see the default index page, theres no navigation menu anywhere or way to reach the other pages. im stuck on the index page with no options to get anyplace else. it looks like there is a drop down option to the right of the page title, but it appears to be inactive when clicked.

do i need to upgrade, or am i just missing something?

    site is http://prodigypestcontrol.com

    any help is appreciated!

Yes, I have exactly the same issue.

I installed it on 2 different sites and both have the same problem: no navigation.

I can only assume that you need to buy the pro version to get your pages to show up in a nav bar.

On the free version, the arrow to the right of the site name is there (categories) but on clicking that, nothing shows up. I have tried all possible configs in the settings, with no joy.

There are no pages / nav items either.

    Some clarification please?
Is this supposed to work out of the box?

    Thanks

    Hi iamhere,

You can select what pages you want to appear in the WPtouch menu by selecting them in the WPtouch admin panel.

    Hi Bravenewcode,

    Same issue using
    WPtouch 1.9.5 wordpress 3.4.1

On my site (view) i can see the menu tab, when i click i get a dropdown which shows pages, tags, categories

If i select pages i do not see any listing of pages. In the admin when viewing wptouch settings, i do not see where i can add pages. The options available to me are
General settings – no option to add pages
Advanced Options – no option to add pages
Push Notification options – no option to add pages
Style and color Options – no option to add pages
Advertising Stats and custom code – no option to add pages
Default and custom icon pool – no option to add pages

    What am i missing?

    hi the_danny,

There should be another section underneath the “default and custom icon pool” called “Logo Icon // Menu Items & Page Icons” – This section allows you to decide what icons should be shown next to the Menu Page Listing, and check a box that allows the pages to show up on the site. You can also sort the order of the pages there.

If that area isn’t showing up, try uninstalling and re-installing the plug-in, perhaps something corrupted when you installed. That, or disable other plug-ins and see if perhaps another one is interfering with WPtouch.

If your links are external (and not to pages within your wordpress blog) you’ll need to set up a page that is named the link, then add another plug-in for redirecting that page to an external URL. (Or at least that’s the only way I could find how to do it.) I used Redirector Mod.

I’m not sure if it’s necessary to say this, but in order for it to show up in the navigation options for the WPtouch, the links must be actual pages that are set up on your WordPress blog.

@jennifer is correct. If you have selected pages there or if that section is missing, try testing for a plugin conflict by temporarily deactivating all other plugins, clearing your browser cache and/or device data, then retesting. If WPtouch functions as expected, then continue to test each of your other plugins until the conflict(s) is found.
