Support » Plugin: WPtouch » WPtouch incompatible with sliders and shortcodes

  • Hi there

I have tried WPtouch on my site Goringe Accountants in london but the home page gets really messed up with the jquery slider and also shortcodes that don’t parse. The images all display full sized.

Can you please take a very quick look at my site and tell me if the premium pro version would get around these issues?

Is there a way of making certain elements on a page conditional depending on if it’s the mobile version template or not? eg. with surrounding shortcode tags.

WPtouch Pro allows you to include functions from your desktop theme such as shortcodes and galleries. Many slider plugins are compatible with WPtouch Pro as well. Lastly, WPtouch Pro offers a custom shortcode function that allows you to insert mobile-only content.

Because every WordPress installation is unique due to plugins, themes, and other customizations, we are unable to predict with certainty whether your individual WPtouch Pro installation will be 100% compatible with your individual setup out-of-the-box. To accommodate as many website setups as possible, WPtouch Pro is built to allow for customization and our dedicated support team is available to provide personalized assistance as part of your WPtouch Pro purchase.

In addition, every purchase of WPtouch Pro comes with a 7-day trial period during which you will have access to our customer support forums, documentation, and our support team. During the seven day trial, if you find the product not to be satisfactory, you may request a full refund for any reason.
