 * Hello
    I have tried numerous times to set up the **‘WPTouch Plugin’** with **‘
   Wordfence’** following the **‘Wordfence’ **instructions to the letter but it
   just doesn’t work!
 * Sure it is something simple, has anyone any ideas
    Thank you, in anticipation,
   for your help Phil Philip Baker **[bakerp@outlook.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/wptouch-22/bakerp@outlook.com?output_format=md)**

 * Hi Phil,
 * I’m assuming you’re following the instructions provided by the WPTouch folks?
   I looked at them and it looks like they have everything covered. Are you using
   the Falcon cache feature of Wordfence?

 * Brian
    Thank you for coming back to me, it is appreciated.
 * Well, I was using Falcon but last night I cut out the performance enhancement
   altogether and low and behold WPTouch worked fine but this morning it had stopped
   working!
 * I have done the usual deactivation of all plugins etc to no avail, surprisingly
   my site passes the Google test as it is, it is just that it only looks sensible
   in landscape, is there a way to force it into landscape when on mobile which
   could be a temporary solution?
 * I am using the Atahualpa 3.7.24 theme which is not in itself mobile friendly
   so it may be I need to change themes, I do own the Omnipress theme but my first
   and last attempt to change to that theme was pretty disastrous but it may be
   the medium term goal!
 * Finally yes I am and have followed the Wordfence instructions to the letter but
   there is obviously a conflict somewhere, do you have any suggestions, ideas,
   pearls of wisdom?
 * Thank you again for your help
    Phil

 * Hi Phil,
 * Changing themes sounds like it may be a good solution, though I know that can
   be tough sometimes. I’m not sure of any way to force a site to display in landscape
   format on mobile devices.
 * It’s unusual that it worked well after disabling caching, but stopped working
   on its own the next day. Is it possible that your host has caching outside of
   WordPress, such as “Varnish”? If so, you can try disabling that, as it can cause
   unexpected issues.
