  • Hi forum dwelling peepz

I am still a little new to using WP so I have a couple of questions I hope you can help with.

Im running a classifieds ads web site,

My question is that I am using a premium press theme which allows visitors to use a simple sign up form and post their free ads. There is a premium section that visitors can pay a little extra for and have their ads as featured.

I have enabled WPMU as I would like to run multiple clasified sites together, each one uniquly customised to do a single job.

    for example

I have a motor section, I have used WPMU to create a subfolder, then used the same theme (renamed)

I would like to do the same for a recycle catagory.

Having sucessfully installed the theme, it seems to be doing some odd things. If a user posts a free ad on one site, it does not show in thier classified inventory, if they are on the secont site (motors) and vice versa.

Im also having issuse with not being able to log out if a user logged in on a different site.

sounds a little confusing and its spinning my head out trying to solve it. So maybe Ive missed somthing during the configuration.

Does each blog or site pull from the same DB tables across all the sites? such as user details?

You’d have to ask the theme dev for some help on that one. I suspect the ads are saved per-site, in the database, so they don’t have inherent cross-over capabilities.

    will do

thanks you for a swift reply
