• Sometimes we have new users that are very capable and can edit posts on many of our blogs. I can easily add the user to a certain blog (and set their role etc.). But it takes several steps to then add them to our other blogs.
Sometimes a basic user can do a more advanced role(s) and thus their role needs to be upgraded on several blogs. Also, because we have a lot of blogs, and several administrators (managers of areas) who may add that person to a blog already may all try to add that person (in vain). (Ie. that person may already be a member of a certain blog).
To avoid adding the person twice and skipping some blogs, it would be nice to have a list of which blogs a specific user belongs to (and their role).

Is there already a method built-into wordpress that can do this?
    Otherwise is there a plugin?
Else is there some php that I can use?

  • There’s a built-in list under the Super Admin – users menu. each user listed also has a section that shows the blogs they are on.

    doesn’t show userlevel though.

In the backend of each blog, there’s also a Users menu that DOES show what users are assigned to that particular blog and their userlevel. that’s not multisite specific tho, that’s been there.

Thanks 4 that. I know those well I often use stats from there.
However I probably should have said that I basically want 2 add users 2 (almost) all our blogs. And, if possible, set ’em as say editor 4 some blog.
