    Good Luck,

I got in touch with WPML people, and they gave me a license to develop a wpml version. But I don’t know yet if I should release it as a commercial plugin.

Anyway, It will be available in the future 🙂

I’m using WPML with Custom Sidebars and Widget Entries, which by nature of it’s using custom post types works pretty well with WPML, which can translate them.

The only problem I’m seeing is that the “Default Sidebars” section is not aware of any of the category translations.

It’d be nice if it could at least be made aware of those.

Is there any work-around now to let it see those translated category names?

On a side note. I Widget Entries going to be updated any time soon? It seems to work fine, but the 2-year old code notice always makes me nervous!

    Thanks.

    Hi @mpmchugh

I’ve not personally used WPML so I can’t comment based on that, however I’ve had a look at the .po file in PoEdit and as far as I can see every piece of text is in there and ready to be changed.

What specific text are you unable to translate?

Hi, any updates on this? I am having difficulties implementing multiple-language sidebars with custom sidebars, because “Default categories” selection made in one language, overwrites the other. I.e. it’s only possible currently to have a custom sidebar for a category in one of x number of languages. The last one you set, is the one that’s used. All other languages are blank (no sidebar).

Any help or news on this would be much appreciated.
