WPML translations for home page? | WordPress.org

Hello
I have the WPML plugin and Customizr as a theme, but it looks like there’s no way to translate the home page items. Will this be handled one day?

site title, tagline, featured pages buttons/text, …

With qTranslate installed, all you need to do is use the qTranslate shortcodes: [:en]English text here[:fr]French text here

Thanks, but I’m not using qTranslate, only WPML (which is way better IMO). It defined a context by language, that should be used in Customizr.

Hello, I also need to adapt the front page of customizr for localization with WPML. The rest of the site is translated that way.

I have dev skills; I am willing to contribute some development to the plugin if that will help.

I’ve never used WPML, but I think it takes an approach similar to Polylang‘s. I wrote bridge code for Polylang in this snippet. Perhaps you could adapt it to WPML and we could publish another one?
