WPML not working?

    Hi there,

    I am using the WPML plugin and when I try to use the custom string functions it simply doesn’t work. I guess I must be doing something wrong.

    I am following their codex and have inserted in my functions.php file the following:

    icl_register_string('stuff', 'operation', 'usage')

    and on the site body this:

    icl_t('stuff', 'operation', $value)

    But the referred text disappears, and no translations happens. Why? Any help on how to use the custom string translations on WPML plugin?
