# WPML language directory support

 * Greetings,
 * My site uses specific directories (/fr/ (default) and /en/) to handle languages,
   via WPML.
 * I’m seeing the plugin trying to use /events/ ie
 * [http://trailball.net/events/](http://trailball.net/events/)
 * whereas it would need to be here : /fr/events/. I don’t see any method in the
   regular interface to make this right…
 * Any help to sort this would be greatly appreciated!

 * OK, the events page can be resolved if the URL is formulated
 * [http://trailball.net/fr/events/](http://trailball.net/fr/events/)
 * That’s good. /en/ works as well.
 * Now the problem is that none of the French event pages show. The Calendar, List
   and Widget views are fine. Just no detail page.
 * Example:
    [http://trailball.net/fr/?page_id=3081](http://trailball.net/fr/?page_id=3081)
   [http://trailball.net/fr/event/?page_id=3081](http://trailball.net/fr/event/?page_id=3081)
   both resolve correctly to
 * [http://trailball.net/fr/event/trailball-speed-5k-challenge-france-angleterre/](http://trailball.net/fr/event/trailball-speed-5k-challenge-france-angleterre/)
 * but this page is 404…

 * I’m afraid if this issue hinges on the use of WPML we can offer no further support
   at this time – we’d like to offer more help and out-of-the-box support for this
   but compatibility with WPML is not an easy problem to solve.
