    Hi,

    I am using WPML in combination with Events Calendar Pro. When i am saving the category colors to each language, those colors disappear in one language or the other after reloading the page.

    I used your function with our own categories slug:

    add_filter( ‘teccc_add_terms’, function(){
    $translated_terms = array(
    ‘municipality-events’,
    ‘municipality-events’,
    ‘ekdiloseis-dimou’,
    ‘ekdiloseis-allon-foreon’,
    );

    return $translated_terms;
    });

    but no result.

    What can we be doing wrong?

    Below are the screens of the settings in both languages:

    english.png
    greek.png

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    It seems to be working after I refreshed the CSS by adding the query arg ?refresh_css to the English page. Just add that query arg anytime you want to refresh the CSS.

    Ηi,

    Thanks for replying.

    I tried your advice.

    However, if the styles/colours are saved in the English page (and shown properly in front end), they are being removed from the Greek version. And vice versa.

    It is like the styles can exists only in one language.

    Please advice.

    THank you

    Are you setting the colors for both languages?

    What categories are displayed on the Events > Category page?

    (@rosso711)

    Hi,

    In greek version:

    – Εκδηλώσεις Δήμου(ekdiloseis-dimou)
    – Εκδηλώσεις Άλλων Φορέων (ekdiloseis-allon-foreon)

    In english version:

    – Municipality Εvents (municipality-events)
    – Other Events (other-events)

    Thank you

    Can you take a screenshot of that page? My expectation is that there are 4 categories present 2 in Greek and 2 in English.

    Hi,

    Please find the screenshots in the 2 urls below:

    I’ll take a look tomorrow, but the filter should add all the categories and they should all show up.

    It seems that there are 4 distinct categories, this is good.

    Are you doing something in WPML so that only language specific categories display in the Category Colors settings?

    (@rosso711)

    Hi,

    Like what? I do not actually see any straight forward settings for that.

    Wouldn’t it be better if i provided you with the website’s credentials somehow for you to check?

    thank you

    If it’s a development site you can send me credentials at andy@thefragens.com

    If it’s your live site, I really don’t want the responsibility of changing things.

    Hi,

    It is our live site, but i do not think that changing/trying different wpml options can really harm the site. We do however take daily backups so there is no need to be hesitating troubleshooting.

    If you agree, kindly let me know so that i can forward the website access details on your email.

    I really wish you could assist me further on this.

    THanks

    Go ahead and send the credentials. I’ll see what I can do.

    Part of the solution is to not set the Events Categories to be translated.
