    Hi all,

I manage a bilingual (English/Chinese) website with WPML.

Since recently, it’s become impossible to switch to my website’s second language (Chinese) from the English, on the homepage. The user is immediately redirected to the English version. However, all other pages and posts can be switched back and forth between the two languages.

This issue only appears when NextGen Gallery is activated… Even though there isn’t any gallery or NGG-related stuff on the homepage.

Any idea as to how to make things work again?

@dorearendil – Are you using the latest version of NextGEN Gallery and WPML?

Have you checked for conflicts with other active plugins?

    – Cais.

    Hi all,
I’ve having the same issue, with NextGEN Gallery 2.0.66.16 and WPML 3.1.6 installed.
This happens on many website, and the behaviour it’s always the same… all the translated home pages are redirect to default language home pages.

It is like something in nextgen conflicts with wpml rewrite rules.

Any ideas? At the moment I’ve downgraded to 2.0.66

    Thanks

@taniot – Although it appears you are having a similar issue if would still be best to follow the forums rules (http://codex.wordpress.org/Forum_Welcome#Where_To_Post) and start your own topic for this issue.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.

PS: We do believe we know what is happening here and the corrections will be applied for our next specific release (2.0.67). C.
