    Hi yos,

Thanks for reporting this. I’ll need to contact WPML and get a copy of 3.6.1 so I can investigate and see what has changed. I’ll reply back here once I have more information.

    Hi yos,

I’ve downloaded WPML 3.6.1, and the language selector seems really buggy in this release. Even with MMM completely deactivated, I’m unable to select a menu to add a language selector to.

It seems I’m not the only one, as reports of problems with the language switcher over the past week seem pretty common:

    https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=wpml+language+switcher&oq=wpml+langua&aqs=chrome.0.0j69i57j0l4.1833j0j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#q=wpml+language+switcher&tbs=qdr:w

I’m going to hold off looking at this for any longer until the issues with WPML are solved (it seems like I’ll be wasting my time trying to fix something that’s not working properly to begin with)

In the mean time you could manually create a language selector in each of your menus, by adding custom links (which point to the homepages of the other languages). If you have Pro then you can also and a flag image as a custom icon for each of the language options/menu items.

    Regards,
    Tom

This should now be fixed in MMM 2.3.3.
