I’m running WPML CMS with my PageLines Lite instalation and I’m having some issues with the language selector.
At first, the language selector would disappear from the sidebar and go back to the available widgets area every time I would make changes to any other active widgets. I realized this, so I would simply make sure to put it back to its sidebar manually, thinking it was a minor not-too-painful bug.
Then, after updating to WordPress 3.5.1 and updating PageLines Lite to version 1.3.5, the language selector just disappeared from the available widget area. I started moving widgets around to see what was going on, and noticed something strange. If I take the search widget from the available widgets and move it to the inactive widgets area, then bring it back to the available widgets area and reload the page, the language selector widget appears. Yet, even after placing it in its dedicated sidebar, the selector does not appear on the site. If I reload the widgets page, the language selector disappears again, and the only way to bring it back is to do the “trick” I just mentioned again.
I have no idea what’s going on. Could you please help me fix this?
The site is lupuna.com and the languages I’m using are French (main language) and English.
I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
Juan Carlos 🙂
