Hi, any plans for multi-language support like WPML?
Especially for the cookie info texts we could need language options to make it fully EU ready for us.

    Hi cebln,

the plugin already supports WPML 😉

You can find all text that is written in the options also in the “String Translation” of WPML for translation.

Have a look for the text domain “ga-germanized” in “WPML > String Translation”.

    kind regards
    Pascal

    Dear Pascal!

I like your plugin very much! I cannot get WPML to work. Would you mind describing the steps? That would be AWESOME, I have been trying this for two hours now…

    All translations are German only.

    Thanks from Berlin,

    AnDee!

    Hi AnDee,

I’ve described it in my post above:

Have a look in your String Translation “WPML > String Translation” and filter for “ga-germanized” as Text-Domain.

There you can find all text string that are used in the plugin and also the text that you’ve used in the settings.

You can fill in your english text in the settings and translate it in every needed language in the string translation.

    kind regards
    Pascal

    Dear Pascal,

first of all, thanks for your quick answer! That is very nice!

I am sorry I do not understand.

If I open the ga-germanized-de_DE.po with POEdit, I am seeing that the English text already seems to exist? Do you mean I have to TYPE every single string in English and overwrite everything or has that been done already?

That is why I asked for a short step-by-step explanation how to get this done. I do not know how to “import” the English text. I have been trying but I find the WPML GUI very confusing.

    Thank you.

    Hey,

I am having the same problem but can’t seem to find the “ga-germanized” Text-Domain. It is simply not showing up in the drop-down. Is anyone familiar with this problem?

Or even better, is there a way to turn the plugin off for other languages?

    Kind Regards,
    Jordy

If you can’t find the translations in your “string translations” you need to rescan your translatable strings with WPML.

For further advice with WPML please contact the WPML support at wpml.org
