I activated the wpmarketplace plugin today, and now my site doesn’t load – gives me a 500 internal error. The error log from my cPanel says the following:
[17-Nov-2013 20:15:32 UTC] WordPress database error Duplicate entry ‘1’ for key ‘PRIMARY’ for query INSERT INTO wp_mp_payment_methods (id, title, description, class_name, enabled, default) VALUES(1, ‘PayPal’, ‘PayPal’, ‘paypal’, 1, 1) made by activate_plugins, activate_plugin, do_action(‘activate_wpmarketplace/wpmarketplace.php’), call_user_func_array, wpmp_install

Is my assumption that activating this plugin caused my site to be unreachable correct? Site is http://TheSeniorAgent.com

    Thanks

This is the error from the site:
    Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@thesenioragent.miltonblog.ca and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Yes, that plugin appears to be the problem – so you will need to deactivate or delete it using FTP or Cpanel to access the site files on the server. Ask your hosting company for help if you don’t have that set up. Then find it here:

Fixed it. Two-fold problem. First was some code that had been added to .htaccess. Lucky I worked on site on both laptop and imac so could still access file.

Second was that my main install was already a sub-domain. Solved it by just opening another hosting account.
