 * I am receiving this error on my site – this is all that is displayed as content.
 * The site is [http://www.schoolsportsnews.co.za](http://www.schoolsportsnews.co.za)
 * Does anyone know what may have caused this and what I can do to remedy this?
 * Thanks in advance.
 * Regards,
    Steve

 * I’ve never seen this before, but I can suggest some troubleshooting steps to
   try.
 * First deactivate all of your plugins to find out whether this is caused by a
   plugin. If the site then looks more like it should, activate the plugins one
   by one, checking the site after each to discover which one caused the issue.
   Once you have identified which plugin caused this you can focus your investigation
   on why this occurred and look for a fix by posting on the forum for that plugin.

 * Unfortunately I can’t even access the site’s dashboard, if I try go to wp-admin
   it displays the same content. So I can’t disable any plugins

 * I had to restore files through ftp and that eventually fixed the problem – I
   suspect it is plugin related though

 * The issue has presented itself again. The team using the site has said they have
   not made any updates to plugins or frameworks, only changes to content.
 * Could it possibly be a database related issue ie that the database is too large?
   I’m not sure how long WordPress archives content and posts for?
 * Thanks in advance.

    Steve

 * If you do not have access to admin to deactivate the plugins you can deactivate
   them via ftp by temporarily renaming the plugins folder to ‘plugins-deactivated’.
   Then after going to the plugins page you will get a message that the plugins
   have been deactivated. Then change the name of the folder back to ‘plugins’ and
   troubleshoot by activating the plugins one by one to identify if the issue was
   caused by one particular plugin.
