Support » Plugin: WP Fastest Cache » WPFC erases 755 permission in folder wpfc-minified

  • Hi,
WPFC erases regularly the 755 permission in folder wpfc-minified and sets it back to a permission where groups and public users are not allowed to execute.
After that the website breaks down.
As soon as I set the permissions back to 755 it works again.
But next time it’s erased again.
I have to say, the plugin has been working well for more than a year without problems. And with not having changed anything from my side, this keeps on happening during the last weeks.
How can I avoid that this happens? Thank you.

I could not understand. Why cannot you set the permissions as 755?

Hi, thank you for the reply, and sorry for the misunderstanding.
I did not write that I cannot set the permissions.
Every time I hit the “Delete Cache and Minified CSS/JS” button, the settings in folder wpfc-minified are set back to 700 (which breaks the website for any visitor apart from me as admin).
I can set the permissions to 755, but after again clearing the cache the permissions fo this folder are again 700 and I have to set them manually to 755.
As I wrote, I did not have this problem for months, it occured a couple of weeks ago, and still persists. And I did not change any settings for WPFC!
To solve the problem always manually is not a proper solution.

I did not change anything about it on the plugin.
