• Hi, I am very disappointed with the plugin.

I installed your plugin WPeMatico on my site – as a result instead of my posts that were shown on the home page the site redirected home page to mydomain/WPeMatico/name-of-campaign and showed “Nothing Found”.
In the posts created as a result WPeMatico only downloaded titles of articles without the text content.
I removed the campaign and removed the plugin – nothing helped, my site still redirected to mydomain/WPeMatico/name-of-campaign showing “Nothing Found”.
I had to use Redirection plugin to manually remove all created redirections that I plugin made without my authorization. It is a very bad practice that after being uninstalled plugin does not clean after itself and what is more leave the site in a broken state and requires manual fixes.
Plugin is far from being usable and what is more it is really unsafe.
Thank you for your effort, anyway.

  • I have to agree with ip11166. The practice of implementing redirection is so, so wrong. It is as though you have decided that you have the freedom to manipulate our websites in any way you see fit.

I tried the redirection plugin as suggested by ip11166 but the redirection was not showing. In order to fix this issue I had to manually use phpmyadmin and delete the redirection from the database. In my case it was within table wp_redirection_items

Needless to say the WPeMatico plugin is now well and truly deleted from my site and will never again come near it.

I have a similar problem. The site’s home page (does not start with www, in case that matters) got redirected to /wpematico/13357/.

At least some other pages were not redirected, so it’s not a global effect.

I don’t understand why separate redirection is needed, as I’d expect the newly created posts to behave as the site has been configured to handle any new posts.

Disabling the WPeMatico plugin does allow my home page to again be accessed.

The WordPress edit page shows my home page’s URL is just the domain name, but when accessing the home page it is shown as being at /wpematico/13357/. Even though the plugin has been disabled.
