 * I uploaded, activated wpdbspringclean and it deleted most of my website plus
the plugin section on the dashboard. I can nolonger get to the plugin section
or restore it from the backup. Not very happy at all.

 * Another issue has come up too. I nolonger have full admin rights. This is really
bad. What can I do to get this restored the way it was. I have six months work
into this and am presently getting the training on the site accredited. This
   is really bad…

 * Not sure long.Vt10. Have you ever come across anything like this before?

 * I’ve been using this plugin on many (100s) sites recently + never had this problem.
 * If you have ssh or ftp access, try turning debugging in wp-config.php + see if
   any errors are turned up.
 * Then drop the debug.log file somewhere accessible on the net + post a link.
 * Likely someone can spot the problem.

 * Hi David, I have asked my service provider to reinstall a backup to see if that
sorts the problem. I should know in an hour or so. Thanks for the tip, I just
hope I don’t need it. I will report back on the results if reinstalling the backup.

 * Update, the reinstall worked although there’s some work I have to do to one or
   two of the plugins

 * You really should have tried to capture debug.log first (if it existed).
 * I doubt WPDBSpringClean had anything to do with this.
 * Likely it’s some other problem that will surface again at the some inconvenient
   moment in the future.
 * What I’d do is turn on deep WP debugging, I also install XDebug + enable scream
which completely disables the stupid ‘@’ hush PHP operator.
 * Then make a backup with something like BackupBuddy + download your backup.
 * Them go through the WPDBSpringClean process you went through (make a video of
this) + see if problem occurs again.
 * If it does, make another BackupBuddy backup + submit both backups to someone
smart enough to figure out the problem + fix it + so it never occurs again.

 * [@david](https://wordpress.org/support/users/david/), My database is overweight
with over 4000 tables. The site is running supper slow where it takes 20 seconds
to load one page. I’ve installed the WPDBSpingClean plugin to identify, select
and delete unused tables. When Performing a search, the thinking wheels spins
endlessly and doesn’t come up with any results. Any suggestions on how to proceeds
   or other options to try?
