Hum… No update + problem is still occurring, so I’ll build a command line tool to do find orphan tables, by wp-config.php wp_prefix + scan the wp-content/{plugins|themes} directories, even if wp-content has been reloaded.

Then give the option to save all the tables before deleting them… Likely this is a very good idea, just in case a plugin adaptively builds table names, so the exact table name never appears in any plugin file.

Note: there are quite a few plugins that adaptively generate randomized table names, so deleting these creates a very difficult recovery path.

Yeah, I have the same problem. Too bad this plugin hasn’t kept up with the latest WordPress version. I don’t know of any other current plugin that claims to get rid of tables left over from old plugins.

Strange I just used the plugin and did not have any of these issues.
It does concern me it did not get updated for one year, however I just used it on a WP 4.1 and had no problems what so ever?
