I had the same issue with this fonction, fixed it but still have a white page for my main site and only homepage with error :
Notice: get_current_site_name is deprecated since version 3.9! Use get_current_site() instead. in /home/nedhfr/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3578

Can’t find what to do ! tryed development version but it’s worth, i loose all my sites with an error saying : too much redirections;
