• Hi,

I have used the plugin WpClone to backup my site stationsfietsen.com

After I restored the clone at the other privider I got the message
I might have to repair the database

After having done this these errors appears
    wp_users: Table ‘profitlo_wp375.wp_users’ doesn’t exist
    wp_usermeta: Table ‘profitlo_wp375.wp_usermeta’ doesn’t exist
    wp_posts: Table ‘profitlo_wp375.wp_posts’ doesn’t exist
    wp_links: Table ‘profitlo_wp375.wp_links’ doesn’t exist
    wp_options: Table ‘profitlo_wp375.wp_options’ doesn’t exist
    wp_postmeta: Table ‘profitlo_wp375.wp_postmeta’ doesn’t exist
    wp_terms: Table ‘profitlo_wp375.wp_terms’ doesn’t exist
    wp_term_taxonomy: Table ‘profitlo_wp375.wp_term_taxonomy’ doesn’t exist
    wp_term_relationships: Table ‘profitlo_wp375.wp_term_relationships’ doesn’t exist
    wp_termmeta: Table ‘profitlo_wp375.wp_termmeta’ doesn’t exist

I understand these are the tables missing in my database.

So I think I have to make a new installation, add these tables to
the database before I execute the clone.

But is this way of thinking correct? And can I just add tables to a database?
And exactly where do I add a Table.

    Greetings

  • Hello, Can I ask which version you took the backup from? Both WPClone and WordPress version? Are they were latest released?

The site was updated before I made the clone.
But the Wpclone version I have no idea?

What I do know is that the wp clone on the target
    was the latest version.

Would this be of any influence?

@loekwoudstra, I understand. Try with my note: Make clone from updated WP+WPClone no problem with that. But where you restore the clone(into new server/domain) you need to do that with WP 4.7 or lower version, but not in 4.8. I had same issues with 4.8 but found no problem with 4.7 restoring clone file. Let me know what happened then.

Thanks for your reaction. I had allreay set the nemeservers to the new location and have to go back to the other nameservers.

Then I mistakenly put the wrong nameservers so now I have to wait again for another 24 hours before I can change it again to the original source. (I have to make another backup from the original site and can not do this without re-adresseng the sitename to the original source)

So the lack of reaction is due to waiting time.

    Greetings
    Loek
