• After an auto WP update my whole site got wiped out:
No posts, no media. Comments are still there, so is theme design.

I’ve been backing up for ages with wpb2d, but now that I need to do a restore/reinstall I can’t figure it out. Especially seeing as I’ll need to use a bu that is older than the most recent one (it has all the problems in it).

I’m not a web designer, I don’t speak code, built the site myself from scratch so I’m learning but not fluent in the ways of the force. So I need simplified, step-by-step help if at all possible.

I’ve looked through all the forums on this matter, most of which are 3years old and completely out of date (with broken links, etc). Would really appreciate some guidance. I have spoken with an advisor here and he recommended I ask in this forum.

I’ve gone through a phpmyadmin import only to receive this message:

    Error
    SQL query:

    — Table structure for table wp_Spider_Video_Player_player

    CREATE TABLE wp_Spider_Video_Player_player (

    id INT( 11 ) NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT ,
    title VARCHAR( 600 ) NOT NULL ,
    playlist VARCHAR( 800 ) NOT NULL ,
    theme INT( 11 ) NOT NULL ,
    priority VARCHAR( 200 ) NOT NULL ,
    PRIMARY KEY ( id )
    ) ENGINE = MYISAM DEFAULT CHARSET = utf8;

    MySQL said: Documentation

    #1050 – Table ‘wp_Spider_Video_Player_player’ already exists

Any advice would be greatly appreciated,

    Thanks.
    You’re my only hope.
