WPAU upgrade stalled - admin problem (2 posts)

    my blog: http://www.jenleheny.com

I tried using WPAU (WordPress Auto Upgrade plug-in) to go from 2.3.2 to the latest version but it stalled at the upgrade.php point. I got the screen telling me to click the upgrade link and then nothing happened - it stalled, breaking my site. I was able to go in and load the backup which restored my site but my admin screen is still unreachable.

    So, two problems:

    - how do I get the admin screen working again? I would love to post to my blog!

    - what could have been the original problem that stalled the upgrade? How will I stop it from happening again (once I try to upgrade again, when my admin is back up)

I have already checked the db_version and it is 6124 (2.3.2 which is correct, I believe) but I don't know what else to do now, or why it did this.

    thanks in advance

    Jen

Might want to do consider doing the upgrade manually as described in Upgrading WordPress Extended. In particular, you want to do Steps 7 and 8 then do the upgrade.php step.
