• Resolved asplash

    (@asplash)

After editing a page, clicking on the ‘View Page’ in the admin toolbar returns me to the home page, yet the ‘View Page’ next to the permalink in the editing screen takes me to the correct page.
I have disabled all plugins except qtranslate-x and am testing on Twenty Fifteen prior to updating this plugin on all my bilingual sites. Please advise.

    Dear Gunu,

Couldn’t quite get to grips with Snaggy so have created a page on the site we are discussing called screens [also added to the menu]

I have 4 screenshots, I do hope this helps.

    Thanks for your patience, Jane

Just an update, I have updated WordPress to version 4.2.3 and qTranslate-X to version 3.4.2 Unfortunately this has not made any difference to the issue of the ‘View Page’ taking me back to the home page.

because of a trip the solution takes a while….

For now you can use the (Page View) link next to the permalink.

Hi, Can you please tell me when you expect to have time to look at this, the problem is not me using the test site, it is that I am supposed to keep all plugins on a number of sites updated and I do not want to have to leave a site not working as it should.

    Thanks in advance, Jane

Thanks to everyone for the patience and cooperation.
This should be fixed in the GitHub latest version and will be released in 3.4.4.

    @john Clause

Help! I’ve just realized that qTranslate-x is disappeared in the WordPress Plugin library. How come? What should I do with my multilingual site?

    Kindly reply, thank you!

    soon this is back!
    Do not worry.

What a relief! I was shocked as my 5-year-old site relies on it, thanks for the reply! πŸ™‚

I have the same “view page” problem as described bij Asplash. But in my case the link next to the slug also takes me to the homepage. When I view a page on the frontend I can click “edit”, but when I want to view the changes it always takes me to “home”.
I deactivated all other plugins and also changed template to twenty fifteen but that does not solve the problem. I also tried changing options, but nothing works. The same problem occurs on 14 sites with different templates. Some of them with an upgrade from mQTranslate and some with a new installation of qT-x.

    Any suggestions?

The same problem occurs on 14 sites with different templates.

??? I can not reproduce this on five of my test sites…

Do you have tried the latest beta version of GitHub? Download here.
