• My site was hacked. I was lucky; my provider has easy backup in three steps and I had just made a good one. Once I got contact with the site again I was able to recover.
    AND
    I am told that the default for WP_table_prefix, being wp_, is vulnerable and allows a hacker easy access to trash my WordPress site.
    AND
    I am told there are about six steps to fix this oneself.
    SO
    I am asking one of you gurus out there to come up with a script which accepts one or two input parameters:
    – the new prefix to be used
    – (optional) the old prefix, if it isn’t wp_
    and then this script would do it all for us, wimpy types, who don’t really understand SQL and really appreciate the power of WordPress – which is, it makes it possible for us to have a decent website and blog.
