# wp_remote_post() failed error

 * I’m using woocommerce and trying to get IPN from paypal which fails.
    I’ve checked
   the woocommerce status page which reports `wp_remote_post() failed error` and
   which recommends me to contact my host. I’ve contacted host support who told 
   me that they have an outgoing connection white list thingy that works on a white
   list base.
 * Now it’s obvious that the fact that woocommerce reports wp_remote_post() as failed
   has nothing to do with the external ip’s and it’s more a missing service from
   php.ini but php.ini has curl and fopen enabled.
    So can anyone help me with this,
   at least at the point of getting some extra log/info about why wp_remote_post()
   is failing?
