    WooCommerce worked like a dream for six months, then it broke.

    I first discovered a new order that was cancelled in WC, but the payment went through in PayPal. I turned off inventory tracking, so now new orders just sit at “pending” indefinitely. No email is being sent to me, because WC isn’t receiving the payment info back from PayPal.

    The full error under System Settings/Server Environment is: wp_remote_post() failed. PayPal IPN won’t work with your server. Contact your hosting provider. Status code: 403

    I’ve talked to my host (HostGator) they say they can’t find a 403 error, so everything must be fine.

    I’ve talked to PayPal, they say my host doesn’t accept IPN, but will accept PDT. I’ve added the PayPal Identity Token to WC, but the problem persists.

    Any help would be graciously accepted.
