wp_posts does not exist

  • Hi,

Earlier today I was deactivating plugins and I got a lot of “resource limit is reached” errors. Then I was trying to restore a database backup I had taken few days back and I get this error that “Error establishing a database connection” .When I try to repair the database I get the error ‘Failed to repair the wp_posts table. Error: Table ‘*_wrdp2.wp_posts’ doesn’t exist”
I really don’t understand how this is possible and I looked in phpmyadmin in control panel and wp_posts is not there.
What can be done? I have backups but it not working.

Why won’t one of your backups work?

I don’t know why backup is not working.Last time backup was also working. And now also when I restore the mysql database from control panel it shows it was restored but I keep getting those errors..I did upgrade few plugins few days back and backup was taken before that.Hope that is no issue.

    Try:
    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.
